I am 39 years old. I moved to Los Angeles, CA with my husband and three children (ages 12, 10 and 7) four years ago from Roslyn Harbor, NY.  My passion has always been solving problems and improving systems or businesses. I spent half of my professional life investing in small businesses and the other half of it leading my community as a Civic Association President and then Mayor.

My transition into politics occurred when I became frustrated by my poorly run Village government in Roslyn Harbor. I observed a municipality that was increasing taxes and decreasing services.  I set a new cultural tone- delivering top-notch customer service to our residents. I made many changes during my first term in order to achieve lower taxes and additional services.

I am eager to begin working on LA’s challenges and trying to make it an even better place to live and work.
