Biography

I am running to continue to be an activist who cares deeply about the Democratic Party and what it stands for.  I registered to vote as soon as I was old enough to vote.  I have never missed an election.  In 1994, I was active in many Democratic Clubs.  The next year I was elected Chairperson of the LA County Democratic Party where I served 2 years.  As the Chairperson I went all over LA County visiting Democratic Clubs.  This was a great experience.  I've continued to be active in the LACDCC and many Democratic clubs.  I have a passion for Democratic politics.  I presently serve on the CDP State Central committee and I'm elected to represent LA County on the CDP  Executive Board. I've represented the 37th CD at the DNC for a number of years.  I'be been to DC to lobby for the protection of Social Security and Medicare.   I'd like to have fracking eliminated and a end to Citizens United.  We need campaign finance reform. Protecting our public schools is important for all children.  I need your vote to continue my work for the 54th Assembly District.
