Jeremy Ray is a husband and father, a fire captain, and a former middle-school teacher. He believes that every child can succeed in a learning environment that is stimulating, comforting and appropriate to their unique talents and abilities. Jeremy was elected to the board in 2012, and has served as the board president for the past three years. His experience and leadership have helped the district develop partnerships with community organizations to provide important services and enrichment opportunities for our students. Jeremy is endorsed by Live Oak’s teachers, firefighters, deputy sheriffs and our state and local elected officials. He has the experience needed to ensure that Live Oak public schools are preparing our kids to succeed and thrive in our rapidly changing world.
