My Top 3 Priorities

  • Public Safety, making sure our police and fire departments have the staffing and updated equipment needed. Also focusing on code enforcement, animal services, and helping the local homeless population.
  • Attracting new businesses and head of household jobs, in which people can earn a liveable wage. Streamlining the process to start a new business, becoming more "business friendly."
  • Finishing our quality of life and revenue building projects, so families can stay and play right here in town. These amenities will also help attract new businesses and people from other cities.

Hello, my name is Anne Marie Fuller and Tracy is where I call home. My husband, of 22 years, and I have two amazing daughters that inspire us everyday. I grew up in a military family and have a great respect for those that have served and sacrificed for our country.

From the beginning my campaign motto has been "Committed to Community."

I first became involved in our community after seeing a need and stepping up to the plate to help. I had an idea in 2004 to create a television show called "Helpful Hints with Anne Marie," to bring awareness to the animals at the animal shelter and our community's need for a new one. No longer where these animals hidden from view, they came into your living room over Channel 26. The show often featured police and fire personnel and brought awareness to several safety issues. Through the years I met with elected officials, police command staff and teamed up with other community members - we would become known as the "original skateholders."

I spoke before council the night our new animal shelter project came before them as a possible CIP. There were 40 projects before them that night and they could only fund a handful - our new shelter was one that was funded. The new larger facility created safer and more sanitary conditions for the animals housed, staff and the visiting public.

Today I serve the residents of Tracy as Chair of the Tracy Arts Commission (serving my 3rd 4-year term), Chair of Publicity for the Tracy Crime Stoppers, Chairwoman for Girls State and 1st Vice Chair for the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 172, Jr. Vice President and Trustee for the VFW Auxiliary Post 1537. I am also a weekly columnist and writer for the Tracy Press and the creator of Tracy Talks. I was also part of the first graduating Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and served with the TUSD Anti-Bully Committee.

I have also worked on many projects around town such as the "Harvest of Progress," landmark sculpture located in the roundabout at 6th & Central and worked to create annual programming for the entire community to participate in and enjoy.

I think the person you elect should alreday be committed to the community - not because they are running but because they are driven.

I'm committed to public safety, attracking new buinesses and jobs and finishing our quality of life and revenue building projects. With your vote, we can get things done together. Thank you.
