Experience, integrity, and leadership are essential attributes that I bring to the office of the Santa Cruz County Clerk. I have proudly served as the Chief Elections Official in Santa Cruz County for 25 years. With your support, I will continue my commitment to provide accurate, secure, transparent, and accessible elections, as well as excellent customer-focused services.

As a recognized leader in the state, I am a member of the Future of California Elections collaborative and serve as co-chair of the State Voter Accessibility Advisory Committee. I am past President of the California Association of Clerks and Election Officials and have written several guidebooks on election processes that are used throughout the state.  

My websites and ensure easy public access to vital services like online voter registration, voter status lookup, ballot tracking, passport services, fictitious business name filings, and marriage license applications. I am always striving to find new ways to serve you and improve your experience with our office, including programs like same day registration centers, weekend voting, ballot drop boxes, Watsonville Wednesday clerk office hours, and Passport Saturdays. I am honored to serve as your County Clerk, and I ask for your vote on June 5. Thank you.
