My Top 3 Priorities

  • My top priority is student success through higher graduation and transfer rates, along with course and certificate offerings that are aligned with community needs.
  • It's extremely important for me to work with Area 7 residents, students, board colleagues and administrators to develop solid strategies and improve communication about college challenges with facilities, housing and transportation
  • Another priority is to work with the SBCC Foundation to learn from and expand The Promise program, which provides two years of college and textbook funds to local high school graduates who attend SBCC full-time
