I will continue to work with the fine staff at Oro Loma to protect the Bay and keep our sewer rates the lowest in California.  My experience as an engineer, inventor, and business founder/CEO has been directly transferrable to my role as an Oro Loma Sanitary District Director and Board Secretary.  I have owned and operated a manufacturing business in San Leandro for 19 years.  I have an MBA and a BS in Chemical Engineering.  I previously served as Chamber of Commerce President, Redevelopment Advisory Committee Chair, Calidad Industries Chair, and Chabot College Foundation Chair.  I currently serve as Vice-Chair of the Shoreline Citizens Advisory Committee, Chair of the LINKS Shuttle, Chair of the Alameda County Workforce Development Board and Vice-Chair of the California Small Business Association.  I am a long-time Boy Scout board officer and past Girl Scout Vice-President.  I will continue to work with the board and staff at Oro Loma to ensure that the San Francisco Bay is protected, our finances remain strong, and our rates remain very low.  I may be contacted at 510-292-8418, or   I love my work at Oro Loma!

Filosofía política

The Oro Loma board of directors is non-partisan.  We strive to provide our ratepayers with outstanding service at the lowest possible cost.

The board has fostered a working environment of respect among employees, and a clear vision of our commitment to protecting the San Francisco Bay at a minimum cost.  Oro Loma's discharge water is consistently the best quality in the area, and is treated at one of, if not the lowest rates in California.  Our employees are frequently recognized for operational, fiscal, and safety excellence by industry organizations.

I strongly supported the horizontal levee, in partnership with various environmental organizations, to learn how to better protect against sea level rise while improving water quality and creating a cost-effective surge storage area for use in extraordinary storm events.
