Mis 3 prioridades principales

  • Promote civility and professionalism in the courtroom with respect toward trial jurors
  • Trial jurors are temporary lay judges of the disputed facts in civil tirials and need to be treated with dignity and respect
  • Assist in the effort to restore court funding to average national levels and restore the bailiffs and court reporters we have lost

According to a “Civility in America” survey, 75% of Americans believe that the U.S. has a major civility question. If you are elected what will you do to address this?
Respuesta de Theodore R. "Ted" Howard:

As a sitting judge, I require of the attorneys trying cases in my courtroom that they conduct themselves in conformity with the Principles of Civility and Professionalism as promulgated by the American Board of Trial Advocates, as well as the State Bar of California.  I also demand that they keep in mind the responsibility they have to the representatives of the People of the State of California, the jury, in being on time and prepared.
