Biography

As a community leader, Edwin Duterte founded a national "pay it forward" movement called “Pink Slip Mixers” to help the Great Recession unemployed find work.  He was honored as “Hero At Home” by KTLA TV and “Hero of the Week” by KNX Radio.

 

He is the immediate past president of the South Bay Republican Assembly and currently sits as a member of the Asian American Pacific Islander GOP Leadership Caucus based in Washington DC.  As a staunch Republican, his platform is primarily to improve STEM education for a stronger workforce and higher paying jobs.

Edwin Duterte is a Fiscal Conservative and will pay heavy attention to to our national budget.  Our government has a spending problem.  Additionally, Edwin Duterte is the only son of legal immigrants.  He is very sensitive to immigration rights and will work to fix the administration of immigration.
