We can use the same financing method that we use for our extensive military budget: Discretionary spending. This means that Congress passes an appropriations bill (orders the creation of money) for the restoration and expansion of our roads, rails, ports, airports, the electoral grid, and all other aspects of our infrastructure. Taxes need not be raised. For deeper explanation, see the work of Economics Professor Stephanie Kelton.
The Constitution's Preamble clearly states that the United States government should promote the general welfare. That means the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If the Framers had rebelled against Britain in 2018, they would have most certainly kept the right to guaranteed healthcare enjoyed by U.K. residents. First, the much-needed replacement of America's aged water pipe system could create tens of thousands of good-paying jobs. Communities would reap major health benefits from water delivered on a new network of pipes. Second, we need to invest in Green desalination technologies and facilities to ensure the long-term availability and sustainability of our water supply.
I am a peace candidate. I support all efforts toward the de-escalation of conflict between peoples and societies. I hope to serve as a positive role model for others.
