Taxpayers deserve an Assessor who has the knowledge, skills, and background to accurately and fairly locate, identify, and appraise all land, improved real estate, business equipment, and other property in Butte County.  I currently serve as one of three constitutionally mandated Assessment Appeals Board members to ensure fairness and accountability for taxpayers.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in both the public and private sectors, I have been successfully applying the principles of effective government management since first elected to City Council – returning $4 million to the General Fund in my first term in office.  For the past 15 years, I have owned and operated a financial planning and real estate brokerage firm, founded a successful real estate investment and development firm, and teach real estate at the University.

My wife and I are raising our two boys where we have lived for the past 24 years in Butte County.  I graduated with distinction with degrees in Public Administration, Finance, Economics, and have a current Assessment Appeals Board certificate from the State Board of Equalization.  I am dedicated to public service – proven accessible and accountable – and will be honored to have your trust and vote on June 5th.
