I am a resident of the city of Greenfield. I have four school-aged children who attend Cesar Chavez Elementary School. As a parent with a family background in education. I have always strived and been an advocate for excellence in education. It is important for our children to meet all requirements for higher educationand be prepared for success in their future. My mother was a public school teacher for over 30 years. She has inspired me to be involved in a quality meaningful education for our children. I worked as a classroom aide in Watsonville. I became a certified literacy volunteer through the Panetta Institute reading program. I believe that a well-rounded curriculum including the arts and science is the best education for our language learners. I am committed to serve on the Greenfield Unified School Board to give my best efforts an be an actively engaged school board memeber working in the best interest of our children, parents, school district and my community.
